The Full Stack Track at iO Academy, previously named Mayden Academy, equips graduates with the knowledge, techniques, and resources needed to begin a career as a junior software developer. Throughout the 16-week program, students master the fundamental and advanced tools and procedures of coding and programming through practical instruction and multiple projects. iO Academy offers four start dates, and applications to the Full Stack Track bootcamp are accepted year-round. Prior to applying, prospective students are invited to attend a coding “taster” session for a better idea of whether coding, and iO Academy, is right for them. Class sizes are small, and students attend classes Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Graduates are supported in their job search through employer introductions, networking opportunities, and interview training. In following COVID-19 government and health expert recommendations, the Full Stack Track bootcamp has transitioned to fully remote learning.

CodingNomads students can choose from a number of coding and web development bootcamp offerings, including programs focused on Java, Django, and Python, and their corresponding tools and applications. CodingNomads’ curriculum is project-based, allowing students the opportunity to learn, practice, and master by doing. CodingNomads offers students pursuing any bootcamp the option to complete the course in a self-paced or mentored format. The self-paced option can be started at any time, and students complete coursework at their own pace. Students enrolled in the intensive, mentored format complete 5 to 15 hours of scheduled coursework per week for 12 weeks and meet virtually once a week. Depending on the bootcamp, curriculum length ranges from 120 to 180 hours. Free previews are provided for all bootcamps, and most CodingNomads bootcamps are offered online. The on-campus programs in Bali have been temporarily postponed due to COVID-19.

Academia de Código’s bootcamp aims to prepare those with no previous coding experience to begin a career as a junior full-stack developer. Students learn front- and back-end programming over the course of 14 weeks, attending classes full time, Monday through Friday. The selection process includes remote challenges and a day-long workshop — an experience that allows the applicant and the bootcamp faculty to determine if admission into the program is the right fit. Experienced coders and developers facilitate classes and provide students support and resources for finding work in the industry. In the spring of 2020, Academia de Código transitioned its bootcamps to remote learning due to COVID-19. In response to the increased rate of unemployment due to the pandemic, the organization continues to build its collaborative network with municipalities, regional governments, and local companies to help prospective students fund their education.
