Skylab Coders Academy

Courses: Web Development Bootcamp with Javascript - Barcelona, Web Development Bootcamp with Javascript - Madrid +10 more Skylab Coders Academy offers a part-time course and a full-time bootcamp in coding. Students in both programs learn the fundamental tools and techniques of front-end coding, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SASS. The full-time bootcamp further develops this, providing more advanced instruction in full-stack programming and development. Part-time students attend 13 weeks of evening and weekend classes for 130 hours of instruction. Students enrolled in the full-time bootcamp receive 440 instruction hours through 11 weeks of classes attended 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weekdays. Full-time students also receive career mentoring during their final three weeks. Graduates of Skylab have found careers with a number of tech companies and startups. Following several months of remote learning due to COVID-19, Skylab has returned to face-to-face instruction on its campus in Barcelona. Measures have been developed to return to online instruction as seamlessly as possible, if necessary.

Students pursuing software engineering attend full-time classes for 12 weeks, while those pursuing web development go for eight weeks. Students in both bootcamps receive instruction in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, front- and back-end development, and security and authentication. Software engineering students further refine their knowledge and technique with two group projects in advanced coding and engineering procedures. Both the software engineering and web development bootcamp offer start dates every seven weeks. Students have several options in funding their education, including a deferred tuition plan. Codeworks bootcamps are offered online and on-campus in international cities such as Toronto, London, Barcelona, and Berlin. In-person instruction has resumed amid the COVID-19 pandemic with increased safety measures in place.

iO Academy

The self-paced option can be started at any time, and students complete coursework at their own pace. Students enrolled in the intensive, mentored format complete 5 to 15 hours of scheduled coursework per week for 12 weeks and meet virtually once a week. Depending on the bootcamp, curriculum length ranges from 120 to 180 hours. Free previews are provided for all bootcamps, and most CodingNomads bootcamps are offered online. The on-campus programs in Bali have been temporarily postponed due to COVID-19.

Software Guild

Subjects: .NET, Java, Web Development The Software Guild offers coding bootcamps designed to help students gain the skills they need to land their first job in web development. Depending on their interests and career goals, students choose to enroll in the JavaScript or .NET/C# bootcamp. The apprentice-level bootcamps require prospective students to have some level of knowledge and experience in coding before applying. The Software Guild does, however, also offer a four- to six-week online web development introductory course for students with no prior coding experience. Students complete either the JavaScript or .NET/C# bootcamp full-time in 12 weeks or part-time in 10 months. Students approaching the end of their training, as well as graduates, are offered career support services and resources, including resume and portfolio development guidance, job search coaching, access to The Software Guild’s hiring partner network, and employer connection events.

Rithm School

The program is full-time, and students attend classes weekdays (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) for 17 weeks. The curriculum includes advanced instruction in front-end development, web server design, React, Redux, and Node. Rithm School also provides students with instruction in computer science fundamentals and experience working with local companies on coding projects. Rithm School’s career services include interview and white-boarding practice, and they also connect students and graduates with hiring partners. All bootcamp classes are being facilitated online due to COVID-19. Remote instruction will continue until it is determined safe to return to in-person instruction by national, state, and local authorities.

Software Guild

Students learn front- and back-end programming over the course of 14 weeks, attending classes full time, Monday through Friday. The selection process includes remote challenges and a day-long workshop — an experience that allows the applicant and the bootcamp faculty to determine if admission into the program is the right fit. Experienced coders and developers facilitate classes and provide students support and resources for finding work in the industry. In the spring of 2020, Academia de Código transitioned its bootcamps to remote learning due to COVID-19. In response to the increased rate of unemployment due to the pandemic, the organization continues to build its collaborative network with municipalities, regional governments, and local companies to help prospective students fund their education.

Le Wagon

Subjects: Coding, CSS, Data Science, Data Structures, HTML + 9 more Le Wagon offers a full-stack web development and coding bootcamp that can be completed part- or full-time. Full-time students attend all-day, immersive classes Monday through Friday and complete the program in 9 weeks. The part-time option includes evening and weekend classes and is completed in 24 weeks. Depending on the campus location and local COVID-19 response recommendations, Le Wagon’s bootcamps are currently operating either remotely or in a hybrid format. The curriculum includes instruction in back- and front-end development, programming languages, user experience, and database design, culminating in the graduates’ ability to independently design, build, and produce a unique web application. Students are provided assistance with developing a GitHub portfolio showcasing their talents and accomplishments, and they also have access to industry tools and resources, career events, alumni networking, and slack communities. Graduates have found employment with such companies as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Facebook.

Practicum By Yandex

Subjects: Data Analytics, Data Science, JavaScript, UI Design, UX Design Practicum by Yandex is a bootcamp offering students coding courses in one of three software fields: web developer, data scientist, and data analyst. During the six to ten-month online course, students will have full access to Practicum's interactive platform, which is filled with professional courses. Students learn how to manipulate and analyze large amounts of data with either the Jupyter or the Python programming language and its associated libraries. Students are expected to devote a minimum of 20 hours per week to their bootcamp studies. Bootcamp prices range between $1,200 and $2,000, which includes a free 20-hour introductory course.

Juno College of Tech

Subjects: API, CSS, Data Analytics, Design Principles, Express.js + 14 more Since 2012, Juno College of Technology has been providing classes in Web Development, JavaScript, UX Design, Data Analytics, and more — as well as providing free workshops online. Juno College of Technology is focused on helping students become web developers through a series of basic and intensive courses. Its flagship course is its Web Development Course, designed for those with no experience. The Web Development Immersive Bootcamp is a nine-week, full-time bootcamp, which also comes with a four-week career lab. These courses are usually available both in-person in downtown Toronto and remotely, but campuses in Toronto are closed until further notice due to COVID-19.

LearningFuze

Subjects: AJAX, Algorithms, ASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap, Coding + 17 more LearningFuze offers students the option of preparing for a career in coding on a full-time, 14-week or a part-time, 36-week schedule. Both courses instruct participants in the same curriculum, which was developed in collaboration with employers and in response to in-demand full-stack web development technologies. Coding coursework includes training in the use and applications of CSS, HTML, Git, JavaScript, Node.js, React, command line, data structures, and algorithms. LearningFuze also offers its students and graduates career support services and resources, including training in whiteboarding, interviewing, resume and portfolio building, and networking opportunities. In response to COVID-19 health and safety precautions, LearningFuze’s coding bootcamp is being facilitated remotely through live online classes.

Code Platoon

Subjects: AWS, Django, Git, JavaScript, Python + 3 more Veterans and veteran spouses can attend an intensive programming bootcamp at Code Platoon. Code Platoon’s programs include an in-person full-stack development program (located in downtown Chicago) and a live remote program, both completed over 14 weeks. Full scholarships are available; the average scholarship acquired through the program is $12,500. For those who don’t need certification, there is a free, self-paced course set online. Those who complete the in-person development program are offered three- to six-month paid internships at a variety of corporate sponsors. As of March 2020, the Code Platoon team was working remotely due to COVID-19.

DevCodeCamp

Students are guided toward developing real-world applications that they can use in their portfolios. Coding Bootcamp Praha

Subjects: AJAX, Bootstrap, Command Line, CSS, Database Design + 13 more A 12-week full-stack web development coding bootcamp located in Prague, Coding Bootcamp Praha teaches aspiring web developers about JavaScript, React, Laravel, and other web coding technology. This intensive program includes 420 teaching hours, five hackathons, and 20+ hours of career support and additional workshops. Students can attend either in-person in Prague or remotely online, and are encouraged to complete pre-bootcamp studies first. During COVID-19, the bootcamp has been operating partly in-person and partly remotely.

Altcademy

Its full-stack web development course lasts 25 to 50 weeks, working five to 10 hours a week — it is designed to be flexible and self-paced. Students are trained by instructors who are accomplished within the field, and Altcademy also provides one-on-one mentoring and career guidance. During the online programs, students will build portfolios that can then be used to apply for work. Once completed, students will receive a certificate of achievement. SheCodes

The workshops include SheCodes Workshop (three weeks), SheCodes Plus (three months), and SheCodes Plus React (four months) — each one covering more material than the last. According to SheCodes, the workshops have a completion rate of 92% and have been recommended by employees from companies such as Github, Google, Facebook, and Microsoft. Students l end each module with a project showcase, which they can then use as part of their portfolio to present to employers. Once completed, the SheCodes bootcamp offers a verified certificate, which can be displayed on LinkedIn.

Actualize

It provides flexible teaching options for students while maintaining an emphasis on quality education.
